Please see the below information for South London and pan London regions in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. For archived information, please see the COVID-19 archive page.

Although system changes have been made to support the response to COVID-19, we maintain capacity to deliver treatment for urgent and emergency cardiology and cardiac surgery patients.  All three trusts — Guy’s and St Thomas’, King’s College Hospital, and St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trusts — are working together to treat patients safely and efficiently.

Please refer urgent and emergency patients as normal to your linked tertiary centre. Patients should be referred in the usual fashion, via Teleologic, the inter-hospital transfer system.

MDTs

  • South London MDTs (open to all clinicians) – Daily multidisciplinary meetings have been established for cardiac and cardiology referrals across the region (south London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex)
