Core Learning in Inherited Cardiac Conditions (CLICC)
The aim of this programme is to provide core training in inherited cardiac conditions (ICC).
View the 2023 programme.
Target audience – doctors in training, specialist nurses, genetic counsellors, cardiac physiologists, non-ICC specialist cardiologists and primary care physicians.
ICC services have traditionally been concentrated within tertiary care, but the shift towards networks of care and mainstreaming of genetic testing means that increasingly many ICC patients will be managed in secondary care settings. Through the CLICC programme, we aim to develop our current ICC workforce and to inspire the next generation of ICC specialists.
Course structure
The 2022 online course comprised six half-day sessions over one year. Each session included a series of talks, panel discussions and an interactive MDT for case presentations.
Access to the education programme and resources continue to be free. Online registration provides login details to the live sessions and certificates of attendance when complete.
Delegates will answer short MCQs following the course to generate certificates of attendance.
